Ausmed's platform lets you access completed courses or training modules with "Review" and "Repeat" features, each serving a distinct purpose. Here’s a quick guide to help you make the most of them.
Review vs. Repeat: What's the difference?
Review:
The Review feature lets you access completed courses or training modules without resetting progress or assessments, making it ideal for refreshing knowledge or referencing specific sections.
Repeat:
The Repeat feature is for starting fresh, especially when:
-
Content is updated.
-
Certifications expire and need renewal.
-
A more in-depth evaluation is needed, including resetting assessments.
How to Review or Repeat
To Review:
- Select the course or training module you want to review.
- Click on the "Review" button (if available), and confirm.
- Navigate through the content at your own pace. You can skip to specific sections without affecting your progress or scores.
Important Considerations
- If a course or training module has been assigned by your organisation, the Review option may not be available, especially if you are required to repeat it for compliance.
- Certain course types, such as SCORM-based courses, do not allow for reviewing after submission. Once completed, the course must be repeated to engage with the content again.
- If you're using the Review feature to administer the course for a group, be aware that the group will see your previously selected answers to assessment questions. If you need to re-answer assessment questions or refresh your performance, use the "Repeat" option instead, which resets the course and assessments.
To Repeat:
- Select the course or training module you need to repeat.
- Click on the "Repeat" button (if available), and confirm.
- Your progress will reset, and you will begin from the start, completing all assessments and activities again.
