Mark as Complete - How to record completion of Assigned Learning
Learn why ‘Mark as Complete’ matters and how to action it
In this article:
Why Mark as Complete?
Every assigned learning item in Ausmed must be marked as complete — this is how your organisation knows you've finished the training. Regardless of how the learning was delivered (online, in-person, or external), it’s your responsibility to confirm completion.
Marking an item as complete:
-
Updates your learning record
-
Ensures your compliance status is accurate
-
Notifies your manager that the task has been fulfilled.
If you don’t mark your assigned learning as complete, it will remain listed as “due” or “missed" if the due date passes.
How to Mark as Complete
On Web or App:
- Locate the learning task you've completed
- Click Mark as Complete
- Click Yes, Mark as Complete to confirm
- Leave a rating and comment (optional), then click Submit Feedback.

💡 Tips:
- Mark as Complete only appears once the item is finished and ready to confirm.
- If the button says Start or Continue, you haven’t yet completed the item.
-
If the button is greyed out, it may be under manager review or already marked complete.
-
To check, go to the Assigned Learning page > Completed tab (on web) or
the Overview page > Completed tab (in the app). If you're still unsure, speak with your manager.
