Where Ausmed sends email notifications when you're part of an organisation
Learn where Ausmed sends email notifications when your account is connected to an organisation.
If you belong to an organisation that uses Ausmed, there may be two email addresses associated with your Ausmed profile:
1. Your Account Email
This is the email you used to create your Ausmed account. It might be:

Your personal email (e.g. jane.doe@gmail.com), or,

Your work email, if you used it when signing up or if your organisation uses Single Sign-On (SSO) for login.
2. Your Work Email
- This is the email address provided to Ausmed by your organisation for official, organisation-managed communication such as training reminders, performance check-ins and tasks.
- This may be the same as your account email, but not always. It depends on how your account was originally set up by your organisation.
📬 Where does Ausmed send email notifications?
Ausmed sends different types of emails to different addresses, depending on the purpose of the communication:

Organisation-managed notifications—such as training reminders, performance check-ins, and task alerts—are always sent to your work email. This is the email your organisation has provided to Ausmed to ensure workplace communications are consistent and accountable.

Platform emails, like password resets may be sent to your account email if it's different from your work email —the one you used to sign up for Ausmed.
⚙️ Can I choose where notifications from my organisation are sent, or what I receive?
- No. There are no personal preferences available for choosing where reminders are sent or which notifications you receive. All communications are configured and managed by your organisation—not by Ausmed or individual users.
- If you're receiving reminders at the wrong email address, please speak to your manager or administrator.

❌ Work email: You cannot view or update this yourself. It must be updated by your organisation.
